I am often asked what hair products I recommend that can be found at the drugstore. I had no idea since I mainly use(d) high-end products so this research was for us all. Well, guess what? There are a lot of great finds to be had!
I love finding great skincare products at the drugstore (and Target)! Luckily there are some truly amazing products to be found. Even organic products can now be found for a song. Here are some of the best skincare drugstore beauty finds. I was not paid for this post so know the products I am recommending I use and love. I…
I have read women ingest anywhere between 3.7 pounds to 7 pounds of lipstick (that includes balms) in their lifetime (various reports all have different numbers). Yet if you think about it, ingesting anything you put on your lips that isn’t organic or somewhat healthy is kinda…gross. Once I learned I was allergic to metals and preservatives (which is in a lot of lipsticks and balms) I started researching healthier options. So in this post we are going to take a look at organic lip balms.
It’s out with the old and in with the new! Happy New Year 2017 from Fountain Of 30, where we never get old because we keep finding new ways to stay (or fool people we are) young! We will be off on Monday but back next year on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
Stay safe – but chic!
I’m a huge fan of baby wipes. Even though my boys are no longer babies, I still keep them handy because I can no longer live without them. However, do I use them on my face? Um, no. Now there are makeup remover wipes which I am obsessed with. Why? Well I used to just wash my face and use an eye makeup remover, but the first time I tried one of these wipes I was amazed at all the makeup that come off (even eye makeup and lipstick). Was I just washing the makeup into my skin? Probably. I feel this important first step makes my skin much cleaner before I wash it and use my skincare products before bed.
While I was brushing my teeth recently while simultaneously perusing the zillions of products I have on my bathroom counter I thought to myself, what are some of the tips and tricks I have learned over the years to looking younger? Now the reason I feel I can say this is because people usually gasp when I tell them (if I tell them) my real age. I typically hear “I thought you were at least 10 years younger!” Now that might have something to do with the fact I have a pre-schooler, but I also like to think it also has do with how I take care of myself. Lord knows I am always doing something to fight the fight.
So here are my top must-haves with both splurge and steals. In same cases I do/have/use both! I have tried every single product recommended by the way.
