Every summer, fashion headlines become flooded with linen dresses, resortwear and Wimbledon style. But this summer’s best celebrity style isn’t confined to Centre Court.
The biggest trend isn’t a single color or silhouette. It’s dressing in a way that looks effortless while still feeling polished. Think breathable fabrics, relaxed tailoring, soft neutrals, lightweight suits, crochet textures and pieces that move easily from day to evening.

Summer’s Best Celebrity Style
“Easy breezy” doesn’t have to mean oversized or shapeless. A perfectly tailored suit, a sleek wrap dress, or crisp denim with an oversized shirt can feel just as cool in the summer heat as a flowing maxi dress. It’s all about choosing lighter fabrics, softer silhouettes and styling that never looks overworked.
From Mariska Hargitay’s playful pastel-and-denim separates to Nicole Kidman’s modern tailoring, Victoria Beckham’s oversized suiting, Emily Blunt’s elegant crochet dress and Jennifer Lopez’s effortlessly glamorous neutrals, these celebrities prove that summer style comes in many forms.
Here are the looks and the inspiration we’ll be saving for the rest of the season.

Mariska Hargitay: The Big Easy Pant
In July, Mariska Hargitay is making a strong case for summer’s “Big Easy Pant.” The Law & Order: SVU star recently stepped out in butter-yellow wide-leg pants, a simple white tee, and a light-wash denim jacket—a breezy combination that looked polished without feeling overdone.
Hargitay isn’t alone in embracing looser, more relaxed silhouettes. Wide-leg linen and lightweight pull-on pants are shaping up to be one of summer’s easiest trends, with everyone from Anne Hathaway to Kendall Jenner giving restrictive styles a break. Hargitay’s version feels especially wearable: a pop of sunny color, a crisp basic, and a classic denim layer for cooler mornings or over-air-conditioned restaurants. Easy, breezy, and exactly the kind of outfit summer calls for.

Anne Hathaway: Mastering Effortless Summer Style
In the last few years, Anne Hathaway has made quite the statement as a fashionista, but she’s also mastered what I like to call “the slouch—those easy, breezy looks that have intertwined with her more stylish, high-fashion ensembles this year.
Take the casual outfit she wore between filming scenes for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Hathaway paired slouchy Levi’s jeans with a cropped button-up shirt, snakeskin ankle boots, a simple belt, and sunglasses. It’s relaxed and slightly undone, yet still pulled together and a reminder that summer style doesn’t require reinventing your wardrobe. Sometimes it’s simply about loosening the silhouette and giving your everyday staples a cooler, more effortless spin.

Charlize Theron: Relaxed Proportions Done Right
If Anne Hathaway has mastered “the slouch,” Charlize Theron is taking easy, breezy dressing one step further. While promoting The Odyssey in New York, the actress stepped out in an oversized blue button-up and fluid wine-toned trousers from Bottega Veneta’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection.
The loose proportions could easily overwhelm, but on Theron they look impossibly chic. It’s another reminder that this summer’s most stylish outfits aren’t necessarily the most fitted or complicated. Sometimes, you just have to let your clothes—and yourself—breathe.
Relaxed Summer Suiting
Easy, breezy doesn’t have to mean slouchy. Nicole Kidman and Victoria Beckham are both making the case for relaxed summer suiting with roomier silhouettes and fluid trousers that still look impeccably polished.

Nicole Kidman: Soft Summer Tailoring
At Wimbledon, Kidman softened traditional tailoring with a creamy Ralph Lauren suit, wide-leg trousers and sneakers, giving the look an almost effortless ease.

Victoria Beckham: Relaxed Power Dressing
Victoria Beckham, meanwhile, is being—well, Victoria. Her oversized blue suit is sharp, sophisticated and perfectly put together, while the loose trousers and relaxed proportions keep it from feeling stiff or overly corporate. Consider it summer suiting without the boardroom energy.

Jennifer Lopez: The Dress-and-Go Formula
Then there’s Jennifer Lopez, reminding us of perhaps the oldest easy, breezy summer styling trick in the book: throw on a dress and go. Her neutral midi dress does most of the work on its own, while soft draping adds just enough interest to keep things polished. Add strappy sandals, a structured bag, and an oversized sun hat. Because this is J.Lo, after all, and suddenly the simplest summer formula feels impossibly glamorous.

Easy, Breezy Summer Fabrics
Speaking of letting your clothes breathe, crochet may be the ultimate warm-weather fabric. Once relegated to beach cover-ups and boho vacations, the airy knit is having a major fashion moment, and Kate Hudson and Emily Blunt are showing just how versatile it can be.

Kate Hudson: Crochet With Rock-Star Energy
Hudson leaned all the way into crochet’s free-spirited side in an off-the-shoulder white mini, cinched with a chunky black belt and paired with thigh-high boots for an onstage look that was pure rock star.

Emily Blunt: Elegant Crochet
Blunt took the trend in a decidedly more polished direction, wearing an intricate cream crochet midi dress with delicate heels. Two very different outfits, but the appeal is the same: beautiful texture, breathable comfort and a fabric that practically screams summer.
