Above is the versatile summer floral dress I found at Target. I love the colors and the black background since I own a lot of black accessories. It is maxi-length, so it is easy to wear and I don’t have to worry about my legs. The gathered tiers are on-trend this year, the v-neck is flattering and the dress has pockets, too! That’s always a bonus.

There are many summer days when you still need a jacket for outdoors and for air conditioning! Wear a denim jacket over this dress and slip on some old school sneakers like these Adidas Superstars and grab a bright colored handbag. I added a black leather belt to give the dress a little more shape under the jacket. This look is ideal for running errands and on days when you don’t know where you’ll wind up. If it gets warm, you can always remove the jacket. You will feel a bit dressed up with this outfit, but still very comfortable.

This dress can get easily dressed up for a more formal occasion. I wrapped a shiny fringe scarf around my waist like a sash, slipped on black slide block heel slide sandals and grabbed a gold metallic clutch bag. The belt can double as a wrap if it get chilly. This look is perfect for a summer wedding or cocktail party.

You can see how different this dress looks simply by switching up a few accessories. A few other options would be to wear it with a leather jacket and ankle boots, with flat strappy sandals and a bright colored cardigan, or with a belt bag and sporty slide sandals. I would also try a banded waist sweater or top over it, and it will look like a skirt, or a lightweight t-shirt or blouse under it.
