My favorite wedding guest attire is a jumpsuit. A jumpsuit offers so much more ease than a dress because you don’t have to worry about your legs (or the need to wear hosiery) because they are covered up. For the most part your shoes are covered up too – until you kick off your heels to dance. So your shoes are an important element when it comes to styling a jumpsuit. I have a wedding to attend this spring and I’d like to wear a bold color instead of my usual black. The bright electric blue of this Elie Saab jumpsuit caught my eye. It think it makes an ideal wedding guest jumpsuit, especially with bright gold shoes and accessories of the spring season.
A Wedding Guest Jumpsuit High Low
I styled this outfit with all high-end designer pieces. However, if you want to have some money left to give to the bride and groom, I also put together a low-priced look-alike version. Wear this wedding guest jumpsuit all high-end, all low-price, or mix up a few pieces for a high/low look.
The Bright Blue Wedding Guest Jumpsuit
This amazing electric blue Elie Saab Draped Layered Crepe Jumpsuit is a smart investment for $2,415. You can definitely wear it all year round, and it will never go out of style. The stunning draping is so flattering it works as a wedding guest outfit as well as for a black tie formal event. However, this Klara Wide Leg Jumpsuit from Sugarlips is only $86. The bold color and the wide leg styling are quite similar and just as flattering, and you’ll save $2,329.

Gold Open Back Heels
These Malone Souliers Maureen 85 PVC-trimmed metallic patent-leather mules for $625 are perfect for this jumpsuit. If you are a shoe collector, they are a must-have for your closet. This style has been going strong for the last several years. Picture them with jeans, dresses, skirts, or a black pant suit. The sky is the limit. But if your budget has a limit, these gold Sam Edelman Agustina Mules can be yours for $150.
The Gold Beaded Evening Bag
This Vanina Le Pas De Deux Beaded Tote will add some texture to our sleek modern look for $450. It’s the perfect size and you can wear it more casually in the spring and summer with sundresses, white pants or jeans. However, you can pay less than a quarter of the price with this Nina Women’s Beaded Patterned Slim Frame Bag for $98.
Multicolored Gem Dangle Earrings
Oscar de la Renta makes gorgeous fine costume jewelry, and these Candy Drop Earrings are drool-worthy for $390. This beautiful mix of colors are a welcome addition to the solid blue jumpsuit and add just enough interest to the outfit. But if you don’t want to spend as much on jewelry you may not wear very often these Astrue Big Statement Multicolor Rhinestone Teardrop Dangle Earrings are only $15.
