Fall is nearly here! It’s always an exciting season, especially when it comes to fashion. We have already covered some of the best (and the worst) fashion trends for women over 50, but what about the color trends for fall 2024?
The Pantone® Color Institute experts put together their predictions of the top 10 colors from the New York Fashion Week Autumn/Winter collections well in advance of fashion week. And were their predictions correct? I was able to find all of these colors on the New York runways, but the reds and neutral greys were the most prevalent. And of course every fall season there is plenty of black, tan and brown as well. So without further ado, here are the Top 10 NYFW Fashion Color Trends for Fall 2024 / Winter 2025 from Pantone Color Institute experts.
Pantone’s Top 10 NYFW Colors for Fall 2024 / Winter 2025

The color palette includes Tomato Cream, Scarlet Smile, Golden Palm, Aventurine, Red Orange, Fern, Italian Plum, Moonstruck, Winter Sky and Lucent White. The color selections are gorgeous! I only wish there was more fashion in Italian Plum and Aventurine, which are my favorites but not easy-to-find on the New York runways.
