After a year of getting pulled off the air due to an ethics, finance and diversity scandals, the Golden Globe Awards have returned, and with it, the controversial winners and the celebrities in spectacular fashion. Comedian Jerrod Carmichael was the first Black host in the show’s 80-year history and he did not hold back. Some of the winners may have been controversial, but they were also incredibly diverse. This awards ceremony seems to be doing all it can to make a splash, without making an over-the-top scene. Here’s a look at the Golden Globes Awards 2023 fashion.

Celebs made interesting color choices this year, going for burnt orange, creams and peaches and white. There was also a good amount of A-listers wearing black and off-the-shoulder looks. Column gowns dominated the red carpet.

Who knew Jessica Chastain could weave such a tantalizing web of fashion?
Forgive me for saying this, but there were a number of disco balls on the red carpet and Jennifer Hudson was one of them.
Of course Selma is in Gucci!
We swear Angela Bassett does not age! She looked phenomenal.
Metallics were still very much in.
Interesting textured choice for the pregnant actress. It’s sorta lamp shade meets sofa cover.
Gucci ruffles and pleats were all the rage for Michelle WIlliams…
…and for Julia Garner.
The bold jewel tones were back.
As were cut-outs.
She may only be 20 years old but I would say Jenna Ortega gave some of the veteran fashionistas a run for their money.
I’m not sure I would normally like this gown but it worked on her and for the evening. Would you say the same?

They say women who wear black lead more colorful lives…
I thought she looked amazing and this was a really “smart” look. (Pun intended.)
She’s the coolest so anything “Stifler’s mom” wears works for us!

I usually name the standouts and the worst dressed. But there were some dresses on the red carpet this time around that had me scratchin’ my noggin. They weren’t the best and they weren’t the worst. In fact, I’m not sure what to think about them. So I leave it up to you…the reader.
I would probably put this dress on a Worst Dressed list. But it’s Chanel and it’s Margot Robbie!
I thought it was a little tacky and a little much but people were really talking about this dress in a positive way!
This isn’t the worst thing I’ve ever seen but – she could have done better.
What’s with the caped vest? It totally ruins the look!
