We warmed up to the long coats trend (not a totally new one) because it is chic, dramatic and practical. After all, a long maxi coat will keep you warm!

There is a wide variety of long overcoats in different fabrics and materials including, shearling, wool, twill, canvas and leather. Styles range from double breasted, single button, trench, belted, wrap styles, fitted and oversized. Choose your favorite overcoat for fall 2023, and get it in a long length!

Designers showed us floor grazing and ankle-length coats, but more practical for most women are midi-length, mid-calf or just above the ankle. After all, you can’t have your new fall coat dragging on the ground or getting caught on the heel of your shoe. If you are a women over 50 you can probably remember that problem from the 90s!
Long Coat Trend: Looks For Less
You may want to splurge on a designer coat this season, but I also found similar looks for less. Investing in a good quality over coat makes sense. You will wear it a lot, it will be seen on you over and over again. Besides, with a designer coat you will get quality fabrics, interesting details and along with that a great fit and beautiful drape. But if you don’t wear long overcoats very often, or just want to try out the trend, you can shop one for a steal!
