Believe it or not I’ve actually been asked what I carry in my makeup bag. Probably because it’s usually jam packed or it could just be idle curiosity. Now keep in mind these are the items I carry everywhere with me. What I use on a daily basis to have my makeup ready is for another post – another time.

Otherwise known as “WTF was she thinking?!” Yes, we know celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Gwyneth Paltrow are prone to taking risks with their style and often wear “questionable fashion.” (Remember that ugly medicine pink Oscars dress on Gwyneth?) But we were hoping that was a thing of the past. And usually it is, until they do it again.
Sadly, Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, Ashley Greene and Gwyneth Paltrow are repeat offenders.

Must-Have Trend For Spring: The Denim Pencil Skirt
One item you will want to add to your closet (or dig out in my case) is a denim pencil skirt. Some may say this trend is retro and they would be right. I think of the 70’s version my babysitter’s wore that were jeans re-purposed into a long skirt. I thought it was so cool. At any rate, today’s denim pencil skirt is a slim-fit skirt that’s all shades of denim blue, white or black and can be a midi length to just above the knees.
The Best Sushi On Long Island? Restaurant Yamaguchi in Port Washington
If you live in or ever visit Port Washington and drive down Main Street, there is one thing you will notice immediately – there are a LOT of sushi joints in this little town. Most are good, but Restaurant Yamaguchi is spectacular, and trust me, I have eaten a lot of sushi in my life. Not Jeremy Piven levels, but close. It’s no wonder this gem got a 25 in Zagat in 2012-2013.
