Why I Now Sleep In A Bra

“What goes up, must come down.” –Issac Newton

If you are over 40 or have had a couple of kids you know this is particularly true of your breasts! I have a good friend who always sleeps in a bra and has done so for years. Yes, her tatas are better than most our age but I can’t sleep in a regular bra. In fact I usually want to rip it off as soon as I am in for the evening. And a sports bra? Forget it. Who wants a uniboob? Sports bras are so compressive they are even more uncomfortable to me.

Seep in a bra

That all changed when I tried the Breast Whisperer Bra which is the first nighttime bra of its kind. I now sleep in a bra. You could even wear it for day too, but I save mine for sleeping! It’s the invention of Brian J. Eichenberg, M.D. who is a highly respected plastic surgeon in LA and his partner fashion designer Ankur Chakraborty. Together they made it their mission to build a seamless bra that can be worn all day and all night. They succeeded because the bra is so comfortable, you feel like you’re not wearing anything at all! No seriously.

Gravity is not our friend

Any woman can tell you their breasts and nipples get lower as they age. It’s a sad fact. Even sadder is that larger breasts sag faster than smaller ones. Childbirth, breastfeeding and weight gain can all accelerate the process of gravity. Thankfully the masterminds behind this bra how figured out how gravity works and which way it is pulling the breasts and how to counteract it. Bras that give us support underneath the breasts work against gravity and keep the breasts from sagging and the skin from stretching. Any bra can do this, but some are more comfortable than others. Let’s face it, sleeping in your underwire bra just isn’t that comfortable. I’ve tried it. I can attest.

How a nickname turned into a bra

Plastic surgeon Dr. Brian J. Eichenberg earned the nickname “The Breast Whisperer” from his patients. He has had extensive training in plastic and cosmetic surgery and performs a multitude of surgical cosmetic procedures. However, he has always had a special interest in breast surgery.

How it works

The support system of the Breast Whisperer Bra provides better support not only in the front but also on sides as well as in the back. The all around support means there is no need of an underwire and other clasps whatsoever. Another difference is the shoulder seam has been dropped by an inch. This means the bra lands on your collarbone which reduces if not removes the rubbing of the seam on your soft shoulders further providing comfort. There is no excess fabric. They are made to fit and support which provides high quality comfort.

Dr. Eichenberg has treated many breast cancer victims and has experienced this in his own personal life so creating a bra that helps our tatas stay north is important to him. Therefore a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of The Breast Whisperer bras go towards breast cancer victims and research.

I am so hooked I now can’t imagine sleeping another night without mine. In fact, I find it more comfortable to sleep in this bra than without. Imagine that?
