French actress Juliette Binoche was in the front row at the Armani Prive collection this week during Paris Couture Fashion Week. She was looking so fabulous and chic and at 55 years old (I can’t believe it) she is a celebrity style inspiration for all women over 40. She wore an Armani tortoise-inspired abstract print double breasted blazer with a matching print beret (from the Giorgio Armani resort 2020 collection) with straight leg black pants.
Binoche punched up the look with a white shirt unbuttoned over a burgundy colored ribbed crew-neck top. The unexpected pop of color is perfect because it goes so well with her skin tone and warms up the green tones in the jacket. This is a great styling solution when wearing camo or leopard prints because they may look drab against your skin. Her green handbag blends in with her jacket (didn’t we say forest green goes with everything?) and her classic aviators are just so cool. We definitely want to steal her front row celebrity style! As she has proven, this look is perfect for any occasion and for any age. Here is how you can get this Juliette Binoche front row Armani look for less.

The Print Blazer
The print of Juliette’s Armani resort jacket is so gorgeous and unique, but it is fairly close in color to the leopard print of this Alice + Olivia Toby Blazer. It was $495 and now on sale for 40% off, so you can get it now for $296.98. This will save you a lot compared to her Giorgio Armani designer jacket.
Another option is this Gibson x Fall Refresh Fancy Ashley Double Breasted Jacket. It is available in regular and petite sizes for only $99.
This jacket is most cost-saving of all my look for less selections. This Lioness Palermo Blazer was $90 and now is only $63! The print is a little lighter in color but it has the same double-breasted styling of Juliette’s jacket.
The Black Pants
A simple straight leg pant is all you need with the pattern jacket. These NIC+ZOE Wonderstretch Straight Leg Pants are $128 and with stretch in the fabric they will keep their shape, too.
The White Button Down Shirt
You don’t have to spend a fortune on a menswear style button down shirt. This Women’s Long Sleeve Boyfriend Shirt from Universal Thread™ is only $22.99 at Target.
The Pop Of Color Top
This stretchy HALOGEN® Ribbed Sweater comes in the same color as Juliette’s top and can work as a layering piece. This top is now on sale for only $39.90 at Nordstrom!
The Forest Green Handbag
An accessory in forest green is right on trend and it will go with everything in you wardrobe. If you are looking for a new color to add to your handbag arsenal, make it green! You can carry it year-round. This DKNY Whitney North South Top Zip Satchel, Created For Macy’s, was $198 and is now on sale for $138.60. It includes a detachable shoulder strap.
The Square Toe Shoe
I can’t tell exactly what kind of shoes Juliette Binoche is wearing, other than the fact that they have a very square toe. I know, I have a closet full of point toe shoes, but square toe styles are very much on trend. Try out the look with these Sarto By Franco Sarto Heather Chelsea Boots which are now only $89.96.
The Parisian Beret
Unless you are wearing Armani, chances are you cannot find a matching print beret. So this BP. Wool Blend Beret in solid black will work for our outfit. Besides, it is only $29!
Cool Black Aviator Shades
Juliette’s dark aviator sunglasses are probably by Giorgio Armani, too. But why pay Armani prices when you can get these BP. 60mm Oversize Mirrored Aviator Sunglasses for a mere $19? BP. at Nordstrom is a wonderful resource for fun accessories you may only wear a few times.
Styling Tips for This Juliette Binoche Look
1. Add a pop of color.
Tortoise, camouflage and leopard prints and other animal prints are usually in neutral shades so you can and should add any pop of color when wearing them. The burgundy color of Juliette’s top is nowhere to be found in the print of her blazer, yet you can see how it works well with it. This color is perfect with her completion and warms up the entire look. The green hue of her jacket may not be as flattering. Red is a complimentary color to green as well. Take this staying cue from Juliette Binoche and add a color near your skin that works for you.
2. Layer it on!
Juliette is wearing a ribbed top under a button down shirt with a jacket over both. That makes three layers! These layers will keep you warm in cooler months and you may be able to forgo an overcoat with this look. If you get too warm you can always remove one of the layers, and be confident each of the layers will look chic on its own.
3. Follow the standout accessory rule.
Less is more, even though Juliette is wearing a lot of fabulous accessories. The reason her outfit works is because only one of her accessories, her patterned beret, is a bold standout. Her shades are simple black aviators, her shoes are black and her dark green handbag is clean and modern without any extra embellishments. Wear only one star accessory and let the others play supporting roles.
