It seems Janie Bryant can't be contained to just one post today! The costume designer for the hit series (and my personal favorite) Mad Men has been using her retro-inspired prowess to market several different modern day brands. She's already lent her expertise to a a clothing line for QVC, a deal with nail polish brand Nailtini and an upcoming style tome. And earlier today, we broke the news that Bryant has teamed up with Banana Republic's creative director Simon Kneen to create a series of style vlogs for the retailer's advertising partnership with the show. But now, we've come to find out that Bryant has even more up her sleeve! The latest dish includes a marketing campaign that she's signed on to for Maidenform intimate apparel.

Bryant will appear in a viral campaign beginning this month on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and maidenform.com, as well as appearing at consumer and industry events for the undergarment brand. Among the Maidenform items Bryant will push are the Ultimate Push-Up Bra, Flexees Firm Control Slip and Fat Free Dressing shapewear. Joan would be so proud!! Bryant said the connection with Maidenform developed because she wanted to use ads from the brand’s vintage “I Dreamed I…” campaign for her upcoming book. Bryant, who dresses Mad Men's vixens in vintage girdles and bullet bras as well as modern undergarments by Maidenform explained that she chose the brand because, “Foundations and intimate apparel are so important to me and how I wardrobe and design for shows." So does this mean there may a return of the girdle?? Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves yet.
