This may just be the year of the print dress. While the little black dress is as popular as ever, some celebs are forgoing the monotone look for a little pizazz, even if it means showing more color than skin. In a variety of lengths, silhouettes and shapes, the print dress is here to stay and celebs like Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson, Sofia Vergara, and even Princess Eugenie of York are taking them to the next level. Take a look at how celebs wear print dresses.
Celebrity Style: How The Celebs Wear Print Dresses
Charlize Theron In A Dot Print Stella McCartney Dress
I have to say that a Stella McCartney dress suits Charlize Theron, though I would have loved to see it on her when she was still blond. I’m not crazy about the belt, but it breaks up the print and brings the whole look together. I’m also super infatuated with those slightly oversize balloon sleeves. You can pre-order her fall collection dress at Stella McCartney.

Scarlet Johansson in A Dark Floral Michael Kors Dress
Dark florals definitely help transition a dress to night and sleeves, of course, give it a crisp and edgy look. Scarlett Johansson’s Michael Kors Fall 2019 dress is elegant with a punch (and the violet eye shadow and dark black booties definitely add to the look.)
Princess Eugenie in a Peach Ombre Peter Pilotto Dress
I haven’t been living under a rock, but I’ve never seen a beautiful dress quite like this before. Princess Eugenie of York wears a blue and peach ombre Peter Pilotto day dress with metallic leaf jacquard and it makes me wonder who the real fashionista in the Royal family is. She paired the look with silver Valentino studded pumps at two back-to-back events — the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and Animal Ball Art Show private viewing in London.
Sofia Vergara in a Yellow Floral Dress
It seems florals will always be the fashion of choice for print dresses in Spring and Summer. Sofia Vergara stuns in a yellow off-the-shoulder floral dress with tiered ruffle detailing and nude pumps at the Hammer Museum K.A.M.P. (Kids’ Art Museum Project) in Los Angeles. Vergara’s character on Modern Family wears a lot of tight fitting, ugly prints so its really refreshing to see her in a flowy and feminine look.

I love the one worn by Sophia. I need to add a few of these prints to my wardrobe.
And you should! Her look is my favorite too!
