So here are my top 10 drugstore beauty finds for women over 35 and I swear I use every single one of them.
1. Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion, Aloe, $7.99
This is seriously the best lotion I have ever used and it’s cheap! I buy the family size and keep it all to myself since I don’t use it sparingly it makes my aging skin unbelievably soft. If there is one thing you buy on this list, this should be it. You will thank me. I promise.

2. L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Superstar Mascara Washable, $10.99
The white volumizing primer builds what nature and age have taken away. The other side is the fiber-rich mascara which adheres to the primer to create dramatically full and long lashes. The first ingredient of both the primer and mascara is water so this dual-sided mascara also washes off easily which means no tugging on the delicate eye area.
3. Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant, Sensitive Skin, $6.49
After years of using solids I never thought I’d use a spray deodorant again because I hated that “wet” feeling, but this sprays on dry. Really. It goes on instantly dry and helps deliver 48 hour odor and wetness protection. I love this stuff!
4. Boots No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation SPF 15, $14.24
I still prefer a matte foundation, even at my age. This one provides a flawless, shine-free finish for up to 12 hours and it has SPF. If matte isn’t for you Boot No7 makes a slew of other formulas which are just as awesome. Trust me, I have tried the Protect & Perfect Foundation and Boots No7 Lift & Luminate Foundation too. I will probably switch to one of them soon since the weather has changed and my skin is dryer.
5. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Arm Candy, $6.59
Who has time to apply a base coat and top coat? I certainly don’t. Arm Candy is my favorite color since it’s pale pink and sheer (which is what I usually wear), but Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure comes in a wide range of colors so you can find one you love too! This all-in-one nail polish now with gel shine is better than ever.
6. Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Palette, The Nudes, $11.69
Twelve beautiful shades for under $12? There isn’t a bad shade in the palette so create any nude look you want with these ultra-blendable long-wear pigments. I have palettes that cost 3 times as much with some shades I’d never touch. Not the case here.
7. Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes, $4.99
We are into wipes at my house. So when I discovered these Simple Cleasning Facial Wipes which are enriched with Pro-Vitamin B5 and remove my eye makeup easily, they became a part of my evening routine. They are now my makeup remover (eye makeup too) and they are non-drying since the contain no alcohol.
8. Burt’s Bees Baby Oil, $7.99
I have used baby oil to seal moisture into my skin in the shower for years. I recently switched to Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Baby Oil since it’s 100% natural and formulated with apricot and grape seed oils. I have no idea what’s in Johnson’s. This one is hypoallergenic with no phthalates, parabens, petrolatum, or SLS so I feel more comfortable using it.
9. Olay Regenerist Luminous Facial Oil Daily Treatment, $29.99
This lightweight, non-greasy facial oil is as good as some of the super expensive ones I have used. It has 9 enriched oils to nourish dull, dry skin with moisture and absorbs quickly to soften and provide an instant radiant glow. It’s also perfume and dye-free.
