Tony Spring's Expansion Plans For Bloomingdale's
If you’re attending New York and Paris fashion week you will notice a new face in the front row. That face is Tony Spring, the chairman and chief executive officer of Bloomingdale’s. He has been very active in his new role since taking the position in February by attending fashion week, visiting showrooms  and dining with designers to learn the latest fashion trends. Spring joined Bloomingdale’s 27 years ago as a trainee and made his way to the top position. As the new chairman and chief executive officer, Spring it is all about growth. Some major expansion projects include: the launch of 100% Bloomingdale’s that brings 1,000 exclusive items from 100 designers and brands from around the world, “the store of the future” a 125,000 square foot unit in California, and a new mobile app making a shoppers experience easier.
