I came across this untouched makeup sponge while unpacking my (ahem) several cosmetic-filled boxes. I was putting this one last job off, because I moved far too many beauty products…according to my husband. I digress. Anyway, I typically don’t use sponges to apply foundation since most of the product seems to soak into said sponge. When you are paying over $45 a bottle, that’s heartbreaking. I don’t remember when I picked the SEPHORA COLLECTION The Perfectionist Makeup Sponge up, but I figured I would give it a try a few days ago. Well I have not sopped using it since.
If you are looking to achieve a flawless complexion, this versatile makeup sponge is worth trying. Use it for blending foundation, applying skincare products, or removing makeup mistakes. The pointy end ensures you get into every crevice and it isn’t so porous that it soaks up all your expensive product. The sponge is washable and reusable and comes with a holder that allows it to dry between uses. Sure you can find the same thing for twice the price, but why should you when this one is fabulous?
