If you live in or ever visit Port Washington and drive down Main Street, there is one thing you will notice immediately – there are a LOT of sushi joints in this little town. Most are good, but Restaurant Yamaguchi is spectacular, and trust me, I have eaten a lot of sushi in my life. Not Jeremy Piven levels, but close. It’s no wonder this gem got a 25 in Zagat in 2012-2013.
The shoe gods have finally heard my prayers. Flats are finally the shoe of choice. Major shoe designers are hopping on the bandwagon, like Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik so I feel vindicated. I knew it was only a matter of time before women (and our feet) were going to rebel.
To know me is to know I am all about eye creams. I have been since I was 20. The thicker, the better. Yet, even between Botox treatments I have noticed some disturbing lines when I smile. Well, I’m not giving up smiling and am in need of some Botox – so those pesky lines and eye sag have got to GO! STAT. I love stripes, I really do and while I am thrilled they are once again back on trend for spring, I am intrepid. Why? Well most stripes just are not that flattering. I always love a menswear inspired or boyfriend blue and white stripped shirt, but that’s because the lines are usually vertical.
