Revlon has created a contributing platform for women’s heath called the Revlon LOVE IS ON Million Dollar challenge. This is the first time a cosmetic brand is the sole host of a fundraising competition. The challenge contains over 100 charities and all compete online to raise funds. The way it works is the charity that raises the most contributions will become eligible to receive a $1 million donation from Revlon. The charity to raise the second highest amount will receive $250,000. In addition to that, $150,000 will be disbursed throughout weekly challenges to the charities over the six-week competition.
“Love drives all that we are passionate about, including the urgent need to support women’s health,” said Lorenzo Delpani, CEO of Revlon. “It’s only by joining together that we can be most effective in tackling the serious issues facing women today. That is why our Challenge, which inspires everyone to give, is so exciting. For us, it’s about leveraging the power of community- and love- to make the biggest impact possible.”

There are several different ways that individuals can show their support for charities in the Challenge:
- a direct donation to the charity that they choose through the Challenge homepage (crowdrise.com/revlonchallenge).
- creating a personal fundraising page on Crowdrise, linking their specific charity and reaching out to their network to raise throughout the Challenge.
- Sharing their support on social media and inspiring others to donate to their charity, using the Revlon Love sign and #RevlonMillion hashtag.
The winner of the Revlon LOVE IS ON Million Dollar Challenge will be announced in November 2015 at an event co-hosted by Revlon’s Global Brand Ambassadors.
