SAG Awards 2018: Best And Worst Dressed Celebrities

Looks like the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAGS) brought out what the Golden Globes were missing…when it comes to fashion. The red carpet was vivacious and lively and full of color. It seemed all the stars pulled out all the stops on this one! In other words, they wore the gowns they were supposed to wear to the Golden Globes but threw to the side because there was a movement happening there that was so much bigger than them. Well the 2018 SAG Awards picks up what the Golden Globes threw down and made it the most stylish red carpet I’ve seen in a while, even with all the fashion misses! Now let’s just see what the Oscars will have in store for us. Could it beat the SAGs though? I think not! Here are my picks of the SAG Awards 2018 best and worst dressed celebrities.

Best Dressed in Bold and Beautiful Color
SAG Awards 2018 Best And Worst Dressed Celebrities Mandy Moore
Mandy Moore in Ralph Lauren

Not sure why, because the colors are not the same, but this reminds me of that moment Jennifer Lawrence burst on to the scene at the 2011 Oscars by wearing a fairly simple red Calvin Klein column dress in a gorgeous color. This is Mandy Moore‘s fashion moment and she’s had a lot of those this past year — but just about every single time I see her she’s having another one.

SAG Awards 2018 Best And Worst Dressed Celebrities Brie Larson
Brie Larson in Gucci
Reese Witherspoon in Zac Posen

Reese Witherspoon finally wore a gown! Yeah! Is it just me or has she gone through a lot of blah, fashion-police worthy moments at awards shows in the past year? This is the first time I’ve seen her in a stunning color. I don’t really like the sleeves or the chevron pattern going on here, but the color and the off-shoulder look is divine.

YES! I LOOK FORWARD TO #GROWINGYOUNGER

Sydelle Noel in Leanne Marshall

I don’t know who this Leanne Marshall designer is (oh right, she won Project Runway) but I think she will be well known after this gown. Glow actress Sydelle Noel looks stunning!

Kristen Bell in J. Mendel

Kristen Bell looks like a vision.

Leslie Mann in Zuhair Murad
Mary Steenburgen
Susan Kelchi Watson in Rubin Singer
Danielle Brooks in Marc Bouwer
Susan Sarandon in Alberta Ferretti

If not for those gaudy glasses, this would be the best that Susan Sarandon has ever looked.

Chrissy Metz in Kate Spade
Molly Shannon
Best Dressed TRENDS: GUN METALS AND FEATHERS
Vella Lovell in Rubin Singer
Odeya Rush in Dior
Olivia Munn in Oscar de la Renta
Lupita Nyong’o in Ralph & Russo
Nicole Kidman in Armani Prive
Allison Williams in Ralph & Russo
Mary J Blige in Jean-Louis Sabaji
Margot Robbie in Miu Miu
WORST DRESSED
Gina Rodriguez in Rasario

In theory, I like this dress Gina Rodriguez is wearing, but what is going on with the black outlining on her breasts?

Maya Rudolph in Zac Posen

I hate when comedians don’t care about the way they dress. I loved when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler started giving a damn. Or maybe Maya Rudolph does care and she thinks this looks good? This is too froufrou for my taste.

Kate Hudson in Valentino

What has happened to Kate Hudson? It’s not just her hair that looks bad.

Kate Nash

This dress is a travesty. Kate Nash found the ugliest dress on the planet.

Molly Sims

Molly Sims looks like she’s ready for Dancing With the Stars.

Abbie Cornish
