Project Runway, Season 11 Episode 4: The Ultimate Hard And Soft. Memorable Quotes From Last Night's Episode

The remaining Project Runway designers walk into their workroom and are welcomed with candles everywhere. This is a clue for their next challenge! This week, the designers have to create a look using materials sourced from a flower shop and hardware store. Each individual look doesn’t have to contain both materials, but each team’s line has to be cohesive. Because the teams are so uneven, The Dream Team gets to choose two members of Team Keeping It Real to join their team. In the end, they pick Stanley and Layana. In return, Team Keeping It Real chooses Michelle from The Dream Team to join team their team.

Team Keeping It Real chooses Christian Dior in the 1950’s for inspiration and The Dream Team opts to represent different decades with their designs. The group has a budget of $2,500 to spend at a flower shop and hardware store. Thankfully, they also have two days for the challenge.

Bette Midler and Leandra Medine of The Man Repeller are the guest judges. After the runway show was declared one of the best in Project Runway history, there is no losing team, just an almost-winning team. The Dream Team FINALLY wins because of their cohesion. Samantha is declared the winner of the challenge! Even though no one’s dress design was bad enough to go home, sadly someone had to go. Joe and Amanda are in the bottom two and Joe is sent packing.
