The holiday season will be over in the blink of an eye, and all the parties and celebrations will soon be memories until next year. But it’s not too late to focus on those final details that make a holiday outfit feel complete. Now that your shopping for others is (hopefully!) done for the year, how about treating yourself to a little something that adds extra sparkle to your look? Here are some of the best holiday jewelry trends to wear this year and beyond.
Holiday Jewelry Trends
I’ve recently taken stock of my jewelry collection, looking for gaps that need filling, and I must say, I love the direction my search has taken me.
Colored Jewelry
One thing that is going to be huge for next year is big, bold and colored pieces. I found both gemstones and semi-precious beads all over the web and in stores. But we all want to sparkle for the holidays, so here are a few pieces that I found that will bring a rainbow of colors into your holiday outfits.

My hands-down favorite piece while researching for this article is this mixed crystals necklace from Anthropologie. It’s one of the more affordable items highlighted here, but I love the rich colors. This is a beautiful piece to wear alone or layered with a thin initial or pearl necklace.

I’ve also been seeing Swarovski Lucent hoop earrings on a lot of the style inspiration pictures that I come across. They come in a wide selection of colors, so you can match or contrast to your outfit however you choose. Either way you go, they are a conversation starter, as I’m sure you’ll be getting a lot of questions and compliments if you wear these.

If you want a more subtle earring that still gives you some sparkle, try these Kendra Scott Krista Gold Hoop Earrings. The vibrant green is the perfect hue for the holiday season but still fun to wear year-round to bring a bright pop of color to your outfit.

If you’re looking for some wrist sparkle, how about this Oscar de la Renta Framed Oval Crystal Bracelet? I’ve been wearing a bracelets a lot more lately, and this is one that I’d love to add to my collection. This is a beautiful statement piece that would pop against the backdrop of any holiday outfit — a rich, black velvet dress, a red pantsuit, or even a casual jeans paired with a Christmas sweater.

This Julie Voss Cannes Statement Ring is the definition of effortless glamour. Available in 13 gorgeous colors, it’s perfect for dressing up everyday looks or adding impact to a special occasion outfit.
Traditional Clear Crystal Holiday Jewelry
Let’s not forget, we still have our traditional jewelry options that we love. I will never say no to beautiful clear crystal pieces. Lately, I’ve expanded my personal gold and silver collection to have some sparkle. I have a couple of holiday gathering outfits that I still have to put together, and I have my eyes on some of these that I thought would be fun to highlight.

Bold necklaces are a trend that we’ll be seeing more in 2026. For the holidays I found this statement shimmering waterfall necklace that could be a center piece for a New Years party outfit. Also, you don’t have to move this one to the back of your jewelry box once the holidays are over. You can find fun ways to pair this necklace with some everyday pieces throughout the year.

I haven’t touched on cocktail rings yet, but I love a great cocktail ring that I can wear on a special occasion. This Alexis Bitttar Crystal Pave Geode Ring is stunning and I would love to have this in my jewelry box. I personally don’t do a lot of cocktail rings, I tend to stick with some basic mainstays, but for this one, I’m willing to make an exception.

If you want to go with a bracelet, I found this subtle but still highly sophisticated Nadri Multi Crystal Bracelet. I love the fact that it comes in both gold and silver, so you can invest in both and wear them together if you like to mix metal. You can also wear it alone or with a stack to create some extra shimmer. This is also one that doesn’t have to be confined to just the holidays, you can keep it in your rotation throughout the year.

Finally, I wanted to talk about brooches. Brooches seem to have always had an association with older ladies, not something super stylish or trendy. But I’m starting to find options that are modern and very fashion-forward. I plan to introduce some into my everyday looks for 2026. But adding one to your holiday outfit shows a keen attention to detail that won’t go unnoticed. A simple, elegant option like this Ben-Amun Double Chain Coin Brooch could be a beautiful piece to get started with.
Jewelry Style Tips
Mix and match. Jewelry styling in today’s fashion world is all about mixing what you love. Mix metals, styles, colors and textures to create a curated personal look that will go unmatched. The holidays are the perfect time to have fun and sprinkle some bold pieces and shine into your looks.
Think about storage. It’s important to have a safe, secure and appropriate place to house your jewelry when not in use. Whether it be a jewelry box, wall hooks or dust bags, all jewelry will maintain its luster, shine, and shape if you store it well. Make sure you have a good place to keep your jewelry when it’s not in use.
Shop high low. You don’t have to spend a fortune to get sparkle and shine. There are beautiful options out there for every budget, no matter what you are in the market for. I’ve found some steals as low as $20 that I’ve had in my collection for years.
Whether you lean bold or classic, a little holiday sparkle goes a long way — and the right jewelry will keep shining long after the last party ends.
