Sometimes the best way to express your style is not with clothes or a subtle nod to your favorite fashion era; it’s with bold, in-your-face logos! The era of dainty and demure handbags has passed us by (at least for this season) and loud, glaring logos and labels are what it’s all about for spring and summer bags. If you want to up your bag game and love to display a designer label, you’ll love this trend. Let’s explore the large and in charge trend of bold logo bags.
The Bold Logo Bag Trend
High end designer bags have done a bit of a 180 for spring 2018. Past expectations were that you’d invest in your high-end piece and carry it forever; something that was sleek, simple and timeless. But, the design houses blew that idea out of the water this year with handbags, totes and satchels that showed off bold colors, oversized logos and exaggerated hardware. I love the unexpected details like the plush and fur covered bags from Marni, the heavy metal gold furnishings from Versace, and the in-your-face logos and graphic prints from Gucci.
Wearing The Bold Logo Bag Trend
This trend is super fun and you can’t be afraid to rock your assets. You have to be OK with knowing you may get some second glances strolling down the street with a bag featuring a giant Gucci or Louis Vuitton logo. Since there’s no wrong way to carry a bag, just have fun with it! Enjoy and covet your investment piece and don’t at all be ashamed or feel self-conscious about what could be a pricey item you have out on display. Now, I must say I’m more of a logo-free bag lady myself, but if you had to twist my arm, I would love to put some mileage on this Balmain Belt Bag and the gorgeous blue on the Balenciaga Leather Satchel is absolutely to die for!
