On March 5, Under Armour opened its largest brand house to date at 600 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago. The opening party was attended by professional athletes, coaches and Kevin Plank, Under Armour’s CEO himself. The new store features 30,000 square feet of retail space on 2 floors with soaring ceilings and interactive digital displays. Guests browsed apparel for men, women and children, footwear, accessories for just about every sport and even hunting and fishing gear while sipping cocktails and enjoying hors d’oeuvres.
The entrance to the store features a massive (ripped) male torso clad in an Under Armour t-shirt!
Guests had the opportunity to try an interactive obstacle course set in Chicago – no remotes required!
We met Notre Dame Football Coach Brain Kelly. Love his plaid jacket!
Northwestern Football Coach Pat Fitzgerald was also in attendance. He told us when he’s not wearing a suit he’s wearing Under Armour! “We are an Under Armour Team” he said of the Wildcats.
I was super excited to meet Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson who was rocking his signature American flag bandana and three layers of Under Armour. Robertson is a representative for Under Armour’s hunting and fishing department.
