Everyone has heard about the ridiculous stories of new TSA guidelines and flying has become more of a hassle than ever. Well, now here's a new airline story to make all the fashionistas cringe.
Apparently, a few days ago a passenger went through security wearing Christian Louboutin Rollerboy Spikes, a men's basic loafer with an even covering of dull ended studs. The studs are less than 1/4" each and so dull that you can run your hands over the shoes and not get a scratch, but apparently these shoes were a threat to national security. The TSA attendants attempted to confiscate the shoes and only with much pleading from the client, the shoes were eventually returned with a warning to check the shoes next time.
So we get delayed, felt up, and now they're trying to take our Louboutins? I think it's time we start reconsidering road trips…

Holy Crap! I’ve worn my Loubie Freddys (the oxford version of these). They gave me the side eye but I made it through. Stupid!
Well this is something new! Wow I would hurt someone if they tried to take my Louboutin’s! Irony?! I would think one of the heels of the patent pumps would be way more dangerous than the dull studded loafer mentioned!
I wore a pair of multi-zippered Current/Elliott jeans and got felt up like crazy. Anything that looks “out of the ordinary” gets you targeted. Needless to say, I was ABSOLUTELY wearing something more low key the next time I went through, and I had no issues.
