I hate to admit this, but I had a pair of slipper shoes in the late 80’s that were black velvet with crests on them. How I loved those shoes. I know they (who are they anyway?) say you are not supposed to wear a trend twice in one lifetime, but what do they know? I want another pair! Not only are slipper shoes uber comfy, they look fantastic with menswear inspired clothing. Heck, I’d even wear slipper shoes with a pleated maxi skirt.
