As everyone knows (who knows me) I have a thing for this season’s Donna Karan Collection and have always had a thing for Narciso Rodriguez. Not only do I love his design talent & aesthetic, I am a huge fan of his fragrances. Hey, right now my closet is full of clothes don’t quite fit again, but I can always wear Narciso…I’m talking about his perfume which thankfully always fits.
When Narciso Rodriguez first came out with this fragrance I read somewhere (can’t remember where) that the fragrance in the musk oil was the best. So I splurged on a small bottle of it which still cost over $100. I wore it every day until it leaked all over my cosmetic bag while traveling. Then I hate to admit, I forgot about it and moved on to other scents.
Recently Narciso himself sent me a bottle of the spray musk, and I fell in love all over again. I have been wearing it every day ever since. I think it smells just as good if not better than the oil version and it costs a lot less too!
Go ahead splurge on your own! It’s not the black bottle or the pink one, but the mauvey pearlized one. I’m normally not a huge fan of musk but this version has beautiful floral notes of jasmine, orange blossom and ylang-ylang that will win you over like it did me…again!
