The holidays might be more difficult than usual this year, so we think you need to treat yourself to a little something (or a couple of somethings) to make things just a little better and maybe more sparkly for the season. You don’t have to spend much either because there are many ways to treat yourself for under $25.
Treat Yourself For Under $25 In 2020
Here are some of our favorite little indulgences at the moment…
High-End Hand Cream And Soap
Since we are washing our hands more than ever, having a really luxurious soap and cream makes it feel more like self-care than a necessity. We love this hand and nail cream from Caudalie to help handle dry hands and nails, and any of the NEST New York liquid soaps, but especially the Rose Noir and Oud fragrance.
A New Robe Or Pajamas
You know you are wearing your pajamas and robes more often and besides, it’s always nice to get new pajamas for the holidays. These Luxilooks pajamas are adorable and super comfy – and might make for a nice change from sweats!
Switching up your nail color – or toenail color – is always fun and it might be time to get festive with something super sparkly like this Nails Inc Seeing Stars set from Sephora.
Even if you love fresh flowers, there’s no denying the convenience of fake flowers – plus, they brighten up a room! Some faux peonies like these from Billibobbi available on Amazon are a cheap and cheerful way to change things up and they look like the real deal.
A candle that smells gorgeous is always a treat, and these elegant floral La Jolie candles are available on Amazon for less than $25. We’re fans of having a candle (or incense) burning in the evenings during in the holiday season to make things feel extra special.
It might seem silly but changing the shoelaces in your sneakers or boots can switch up the whole look. Satin ribbon shoelaces like these from Elwish on Amazon are inexpensive and fun, and simple to swap out for different colors whenever you want an update.
A New Lipstick
It might just be for Facetime or Zooms, but a new lipstick can literally brighten up your day. And really, when is a better time to test out a new color? The new Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Cream lip colors are amazingly comfortable to wear and super flattering – and they don’t rub off on your mask!
A Special Statue
A goddess, a crystal, an animal that you identify with, or just something new put in your space is always a good idea, and if you’re spending more time at home than usual, beautifying the space with something serene like this Buddha statue (available from DharmaObjects via Amazon) can help with your mental state.
Fancy Coffee Or Tea (Or Related Accoutrements)
If you are a regular coffee or tea drinker, then you should get yourself a special blend to upgrade your experience! For instance, wouldn’t your day be better if you had this Ladurée loose leaf tea and its super elegant container packaging? Or these mini latte bowls in chic black and white? Upgrading the coffee or tea ritual is an easy way to treat yourself.
