Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have opened their first flagship store for their label The Row at 8440 Melrose Place. The 3,800 square foot store resembles a California pad, complete with its own swimming pool in the glass courtyard. The twins refer to the store as “a hidden gem”since you can not even see it from the street. An important factor regarding the design of the store was the twins wanted it to represent Los Angeles and with the help of designers David Montalba and Courtney Applebaum that was accomplished. The store is set up like a home with the apparel as part of the space.
