This fall, I’ve been wearing rich colors from the Pantone Fall 2018 Color Trend Report. Pantone really hit the nail on the head and pulled together ten beautiful colors that complement each other when worn together and also look amazing on their own. Read on for colors from Pantone’s report paired with something in that hue you can buy (for less!) to add to your cold weather wardrobe. Here’s where to find and how to style the 6 best Pantone fashion color picks for fall.
The 6 Best Pantone Fashion Color Picks for Fall
Nebulas Blue
One of my favorite hues from the report is Nebulas Blue, a vibrant, electric blue. Pantone calls it a ‘thoughtful, starry-eyed blue,’ which I love. This fabulous faux fur coat from Topshop perfectly brings this fun shade of blue to life and adds a beautiful pop of color.
Quetzal Green
Another color featured by Pantone this fall is an elegant blue-green called Quetzal Green. It’s a deeper shade than the blue and is slightly more regal in the traditional sense; Pantone says it’s ‘suggestive of rich plumage.’ Topshop also offers a chic corduroy jacket in a hue very similar to this blue-green that makes the color feel modern and fresh. I prefer these hues of blue and green worn as coats and jackets because they are fun to style and easily complement many outfits and color combinations, from all black to a bright pop of red of yellow. I’m really excited to incorporate both Nebulas Blue and Quetzal Green into my looks.

Valiant Poppy and Red Pear
For shades of red, Pantone loves Valiant Poppy, a bright, alluring red and Red Pear, a deep shade that reminds me of wine. I adore red dresses for dinners and holiday parties because they stand out and make a sophisticated statement while remaining simple enough to pull together that you can keep the accessories to a minimum. ASOS has a feminine midi dress in a very similar color to Valiant Poppy that features lace, a high neck and tie sleeves. They also offer a dress in the gorgeous Red Pear shade featuring velvet, lace and a feminine neckline. The dress’ silhouette is flattering and features a pencil midi length that hits past the knees.
Ceylon Yellow and Crocus Petal
Two other colors I adore from the report are Ceylon Yellow, a spicy mustard shade that Pantone says ‘adds an exotic touch’ and Crocus Petal, which is a light spring color and an unexpected edition for a fall palette, yet somehow it works perfectly with the other colors. BaubleBar has pretty jewelry in these colors like these bold drop earrings in the Ceylon Yellow and a statement, jeweled necklace in the Crocus Petal shade. These fun pieces would definitely mix and match well.
Other Pantone Fashion Colors
The four other colors from the report are Ultra Violet, a bright, rich purple; Russet Orange, a vibrant orange that reminds me of turmeric or autumn leaves; Martini Olive, a chic urban shade of green and Limelight, a refreshing yellow-green lemony hue.
