You don’t have to be a bride or channeling Madonna’s “Like a Virgin” MTV performance (yes, I remember watching it live) to appreciate the little white lace dress. The trend is back in a big way this summer. Don’t believe me? Just check out Ralph Lauren’s Spring ’11 runway for proof. The beauty of a little white lace dress is that it looks brilliant on just about everybody and will show off your spray tan beautifully. Just make sure to pair it with modern accessories (shoes, bags, jewelry) or you run the risk of looking matronly…and you don’t want that. Also keep the hem above the knee or you might look like a runaway bride. Oh, and it goes without saying you should not wear this to a wedding. The bride will not be happy.
