It’s still pretty miserable outside and at some points it’s been snowing. What gives? Didn’t that groundhog say spring was on the way? There’s nothing worse than dreaming about those fun bright spring-inspired clothing pieces, including sundresses and capri pants, with no real date in sight for when you might actually wear them. Can spring hurry up?
Even though I am kicking at the ground in anger, my anticipation overrides my irritability for the arrival of warmer climates. One of the things I am most excited for is looking sleek and tailored again. Not that I don’t adopt that look all year round, it’s just that it is so hard to look crisp while bundling up with layers upon layers of knits. Skimmer jeans paired with clean button-down shirts are always a seasonal favorite. Another classic is sandals with a circle skirt. Nothing says “easy-going chic” that looking on-trend and feeling comfortable at the same time.
Sheer, flouncy skirts and pieces with bright Popsicle colors… I miss them all! Hopefully, the season changes soon and we’ll be back to sunny days again (fingers crossed)!
