If you haven’t noticed already, here at Fountainof30, we’re turning to spring for inspiration on the best fashion finds. While I love to mull over the upcoming trends for each season, I also always look to the hot colors of the season. Embracing a color trend is a terrific way to refresh your wardrobe, especially if you tend to stick to your tried-and-true silhouettes and styles, like most of us seasoned fashion lovers. You can still be trend-forward if you incorporate a seasonal color trend to your mix by wearing it in a simple piece like a t-shirt or A-line skirt. The one color that I gravitate towards most out of all of the spring color trends is the warm, deep red-orange color that Pantone calls Orangeade.
Orangeade Spring Color Trend
I’m much more into brights than pastels, so Orangeade is the perfect color trend for me to jump on for the spring. I’ve already found a few pieces that align perfectly with this hue, so if you’re like me and love a pop of color, I’ve got you covered!

How To Wear Orangeade Dresses
I’m not so much a dress gal, but I will say I’ve been dabbling in more dress options recently than I have in the past. One dress that I would feel comfortable and chic in would be this Quince Linen Shirt Dress, which is just the silhouette that I love. The tie front at the waist and hem that falls just at the knee are both excellent features. They call this color orange lily, but it is the perfect dupe to Pantone’s Orangeade.
If you prefer something a little more whimsical, you can try this Lauren Ralph Lauren Cotton Tiered Maxi Dress. The price point of $69 can’t be beat for the 100% cotton piece. It’s flowy, casual, feminine and in my opinion, a perfect piece for your spring wardrobe.
Orangeade Tops
If you want to try this trend but aren’t feeling too adventurous, no worries. All you need is one key piece this spring, and I promise you won’t regret it. If you want to try this trend but aren’t feeling too adventurous, no worries. This Banana Republic Cotton Silk Crew Neck Sweater will be staple in you closet. It’s got a classic crew neck, subtle ribbed knit and is made from a soft and luxurious cotton and silk blend.
You can pair this with anything you already own. Also note, their color Trailblazing Red Orange is a beautiful option that aligns with the Orangeade color trend. But, if you ultimately decide that color isn’t for you, they have decent range of four other colors to choose from.
How To Style Orangeade Bottoms
Sometimes, taking the leap to brightly colored pants or skirts can be daunting. You don’t want to choose the wrong fit, size or silhouette that will result in an unflattering look. But, if you’re willing to take the risk and want to try something in the Orangeade color trend, I want to suggest these Lauren Ralph Lauren Double Faced Stretch Cotton Pants in Orange Lily. I personally love the way these are styled on the model, with the white sweater and crisp white sneakers. I would probably wear them exactly the same way! Or if you want to go a little bolder, I suggest pairing these with a bright fuchsia top and a pair of neutral color mules.
If skirts are more for you, try this Chiffon Pleated Midi-Skirt from Amazon. I envision wearing this with a loose-knit sweater, simple ballet flats and an oversized denim jacket. It’s perfect to wear to the office or out on your weekend errands—especially when you want to feel a little dressed up!
Orangeade Accessories
If you’re not ready to dive into full-on Orangeade fashion, accessories are a great way to add this color trend to your wardrobe. First, I fell in love with these Lele Sadoughi Pave Earrings. I’ve become one to keep to silver and gold these days, but these beauties in the color Scarlet, will quickly get me to stray away from my gold hoop staples.
Finally, this bold statement Mini Square Acrylic Buckle Belt definitely caught my eye. Again, I’m generally one to stick to basics when I’m selecting my belt options, but I’d be willing to invest in this piece and give it a go.
How To Style Orangeade: Expert Style Tips
- Wear the rainbow. I know splashing on a lot of color can feel intimidating, but don’t be afraid to pair Orangeade with another poppy color. I’m thinking royal blue, purple, fuchsia and even yellow. Color-blocking your outfit with vibrant shades will keep all eyes on you!
- One or two pieces is all you need. You don’t have to fill your closet with this color to make a statement. One or two beautifully curated pieces to pair with some existing options in your closet should be all you need to highlight your style.
- It’s not an exact science. Yes, I know we are specially calling out the Pantone color Orangeade, but don’t forget, finding that color exactly may be difficult. Depending on where you live and your clothing budget, you might not be able to snag an exact runway look. That’s why I tried to find options that fall in the same color story, even if they’re not exact matches. It’s OK to find a different interpretation and make it our own!
