Carol and I are both Sassoon loyalists. We have been for the past (wow) almost 9 years! Carol still goes in Chicago and I started in Chicago and have been going for both color and cut in NYC since I moved here 7 years ago. So now many of my blogger peers and friends got to see first-hand, why Second City Style loves them so. This past Tuesday evening I attended Sassoon’s Exclusive Fall Beauty Event with about 30 other fashion and beauty influencers to receive some of Sassoon’s stellar services and to preview Sassoon’s AW14 collection, called Optica.
Thankfully, Hamid colored my hair about 3 weeks ago, but I didn’t have time for Michael to cut my hair, so I was in need of a trim. I had no idea my hair looked so awful when I walked in. I had been running around all day and the heat and humidity did a number which I was apparently oblivious to.
