Last night, at the Radio City Music Hall, we got a pretty mix of pink, peach, cream and flesh tones, set against the classy red carpet look of silver and gray. We can’t name every star of theater, but even to Broadway novices, the attire at The Tony Awards definitely impressed!
Gina Torres
This peachy print on a coral backdrop is summery without being tropical, graphically floral without being prissy. We love it funked out with the chunky gold accessories, especially against her skin tone.
Alice Eve
This black-trimmed, satiny number isn’t our favorite cream-colored dress of the night, but we do like its vintage boudoir feel.

Katherine Shindle
This unexpected dress combines the summer trend of ombre with the night’s prominent peach color in a stunning way. We also enjoy how it hints at the popular maxi dress without really being one.
Kelli O’Hara
This extremely chic tone of gray looks great with her blonde hair and blue eyes. The structured bodice and straight lines of the dress are tailored to the perfect fit here. So very classy!
Martha Plimpton
This foil on gray is very glam. We love the neckline and the subtle floral print.
Laura Linney
Honestly, we’ve seen Linney look better. The color works for her, but the hem does not work for us. Something about the layered asymmetrical bottom of the dress causes some awkwardness around her ankles. Otherwise, quite pretty.
Mayumi Miguel
Peach isn’t perfect for everyone. This extremely monochromatic, matchy-matchy look does not work for Miguel. The structured mini makes her shoulders masculine, and the oversized necklace is overkill. Something simpler next time would be just peachy, please!
Overall, we loved the peach and gray tones of the evening. We’d like to see someone combine them in a look… any designers listening out there?
