Supermodel Miranda Kerr shows us how to effortlessly pull off the suede fringe jacket look. Kerr’s jacket has that “WOW” factor. Emulating this look works well in spring when it’s time to lighten up your fabrics but there is always that chance of a sudden drop in temperatures. The secret to really making this outfit work is to not clutter it with too much color and texture.
Thank God Birkenstocks are once again out of fashion (not that I EVER thought they were in nor would I ever be caught dead in them!). What’s the hot sandal that’s equally as comfortable, but not nearly as ugly this summer? Flatform sandals! You get the height of a heel without the discomfort! Win win. Be warned, don’t try to rock the Frankenstein 4 inch flatform. They will look ridiculous on you if you are over 40 (think “trying too hard”). One or even 2 inches is fine. Any more than that should be for your daughter. Wear your flatform sandals with cropped jeans or even a midi skirt.
Lately I have been finding myself reaching for my gold rimmed sunglasses. Why? Well they look hot! Seriously, the color compliments pretty much any skin tone and they have a bit of a 70’s vibe which by now we all know is in right now. Thin gold frames look like jewelry and the thicker ones are just funky! Besides, is there any better way to dress up an outfit than with a touch of gold? So go for it! You can always go for classic Ray Ban Aviators and never go wrong, but here are some additional styles I found and some are even under $25!

Well hopefully you kept them, because according to Gucci (who we look to lately for fashion inspiration as they are back on track since Alessandro Michele took over of the helm this past year), silk floral pins are the must have trend of the season. Florals are everywhere this season and even on Gucci handbags (you kinda want one too, right?). So leave it to the trendsetting brand to bring the floral brooch back. It wasn’t old-ladyish when Carrie wore it in the 90’s and it doesn’t have to be now either.
