Summary: In 1960 Sinatra fell in love with bossa nova and in 2007, Carlos Miele fell in love with it too. His spring ’08 collection was strongest when the gowns exemplified and moved with the Brazilian rhythms and fluidity. Miele’s Brazilian roots were integrated with cultural touches like vibrant colors and rosette appliqués. I particularly loved the cherry blossom silk chiffon gown and top which made me want summer to arrive right now. Wait…it has.
