Summary: The Hervé Léger name is synonymous for seam bindings or banding that is  wound around the wearer like an Egyptian mummy for an amazingly tight fit. The dresses are made of bands of stretch fabrics like wool or silk woven with Lycra or Elastene. So a cheeseburger and fries are most assuredly out for the wearer. It must be painful for Hervé Léger (now Hervé Laroux) to see how Azria has taken his signature look (he lost his business due to finances in 1999) and has not only expounded upon it, but has now re-created a celebrated celebrity brand. However, once you have seen a few bandage dresses in varying lengths (super minis to gowns) and color combinations (some with our without appliques which is waht Azria brought to the table) you have pretty much seen them all. So 51 looks seemed a little excessive. Clearly Azria agreed because after the 36th look the lights dimmed. Confused, some of the audience began gathering their belongings. When the lights came back up the last 15 looks which were the classic and basically untouched iconic minis Léger is known for in luxurious colors like teal and plum…were sent down the runway in quick-fire, rapid succession.
