After years of dressing down in a uniform of joggers and sneakers, I’m in the mood to dress up – at least a little bit! Enter the t-shirt dress. Today I’m loving this Treasure & Bond Side Ruched Body-Con Dress for $59. It has an easy fit and it is not your usual boxy t-shirt dress. That’s because it has gentle ruching on the side giving it a more flattering shape. The ruching does double duty as it both accentuates your waistline and curves, while skimming over your body so it is not too clingy. The ruching can help hide a few figure flaws (and panty lines) too. And did I mention it is as comfortable as joggers? This not-so-usual t-shirt dress is available in 7 colors and plus sizes, too.
The Not-So-Usual T-shirt Dress
This dress is perfect because the midi length and sleeves makes appropriate for many occasions. Wear it under a blazer with flats for work, wear it with sandals or slides and a straw bag for a barbecue or casual event, and you can wear it with metallic heeled sandals, bright jewelry and an evening bags for a night out. Are you thinking “travel dress” now? With all of these styling options, I am too.
I’m also loving many other not-so-usual t-shirt dresses I’m seeing in stores. What make them different? Some are belted, some have tiers, some are maxi, some have chic side slits, and the list goes on. There are a lot of style options and color choices and one is bound to be just right for you. So I put together a bunch if them so you can shop! The prices range from $20 to $200 with most are around $50. Black is always a fabulous choice, but why not go for a dress in a color this year? You can always get one in black, too.
YES! I LOOK FORWARD TO #GROWINGYOUNGER
