Macy's in Chicago has just opened two new eco-friendly beauty shops in their Water Tower Place and Old Orchard stores called 'Beautiful Planet'. Designed as a shop within a shop, the new Beautiful Planet spaces are about 315 square feet, located in the first floor Cosmetics department, and were built to celebrate beauty and well-being in the most natural way possible.
In these new shops, Macy’s carries well-known natural and organic brands such as Burt's Bees, Farmaesthetics, Nvey Eco, Organic Apoteke, Terre d'Oc, and Pangea Organics. In addition to having high standards for the natural and organic brands Macy’s carries, all elements of the shop were created using environmentally sustainable construction methods and materials. From packaging and display fixtures to pamphlets printed on recyclable paper, this shop is truly in touch with Mother Nature.

Macy’s two new Chicago-area Beautiful Planet shops will host launch party events to celebrate the shop openings featuring organic refreshments, product treatments, and a yoga session.
Macy’s Water Tower Place Party: Thursday, March 26 at 5:30pm
Macy’s Old Orchard Party: Saturday, March 28 at 1pm.
