Lisa Eldridge Named Lancôme's New Makeup Creative Director

Lancome's new Makeup Creative Director Lisa Eldridge
Professional British makeup artist Lisa Eldridge was named makeup creative director of Lancôme yesterday. Aside from having enviable celebrity clientele, she served as creative director of Boots No7 from 2003 – 2013 and since June 2011, she has worked with CHANEL to create over 40 videos per year for their site. Her blog and YouTube channel of make-up tutorials are followed by millions and her celebrity clientele is enviable.

Eldridge’s blog is all about wellbeing and offers practical tips on looking gorgeous and feeling good about yourself so it made sense she would one day work with Lancôme. She will create products and collections that embody her effortlessly chic philosophy—one she shares with Lancôme. She will also craft application gesture techniques and tutorials designed to make women’s lives easier. She follows these three golden rules: choose between eyes OR lips, buy products that illuminates your face only after trying it out in natural light and, first and foremost, a beautiful complexion is key.
“It’s an honor to be named Makeup Creative Director at Lancôme, a brand with an incredible heritage, impeccable style and genuine integrity. We are designing a brand new Paris Makeup Atelier and I can’t wait to start creating new collections, shades and products, as well as posting the amazing on-line content we have in mind. This truly is an exciting new adventure!”  said Lisa Eldridge.
We are excited too.
