CEO Adam “Ace” Moyer, founded the company when he was a graduate art student at University of California, San Diego. Merging the classic East Coast preppy style of his Virginia upbringing, his interest in design and fashion, and his love for the perpetually sunny, laid-back lifestyle of Southern California, Ace created a company centered around a sunglasses line that was simultaneously practical, stylish and more importantly, affordable. Knockaround sunglasses range from $14 – $45. Today the range of styles and colors is as limited as your imagination. In fact, now you can even create your own custom color combination. In more recent years Knockaround has expanded to include new models, a huge variety of color choices, and other accessories, such as belts and duffel bags.
