From March 11 through April 15, Kiehl’s is donating $50,000 to DonorsChoose.org projects. Customers can buy Kiehl’s 3.4 oz. new jumbo size Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate at Kiehl’s stores, department store counters, and on Kiehls.com. The concentrate retails for $100 and each product comes with a specially designed sleeve. Inside each sleeve, there is a$50 DonorsChoose.org gift code. Customers are then invited to visit www.DonorsChoose.org/Kiehls and redeem their gift code to apply a $50 Kiehl’s donation to the project of their choice.
This is a very interesting donation program, because customers decide exactly where to distribute the contribution. However, all the donation options will be science related. This is a nod to Kiehl’s scientific and pharmaceutical heritage. Recipients from this initiative will also be from schools in the cities where Kiehl’s customers are located; they can support their local teachers and students.
