Jewelry designer Jamie Wolf was at Neiman Marcus in Chicago this week for a trunk show of her fabulous pieces. Jamie is as sweet and graceful as her fine jewelry. She danced with The New York City Ballet for over 11 years and was developing her jewelery collection at the same time. She now dedicates all of her time to her jewelry. Jamie’s  pieces are classic, organic and delicate, yet quite wearable. Jamie was the perfect model wearing her jewelry with a t-shirt and leather jacket. You can picture how the jewelry would be just as elegant with a little black dress.”My pieces can be worn from day to evening. I refer to it as ‘Luxury and Utility.’ The pieces can be integrated, and you can  keep and collect them.” She told me the designs evolve and transition from one season to the next and like a fashion designer she does two collections a year, fall and spring. Many of the pieces are one-of-a-kind and she’lll make custom pieces by request. Her pieces are truly something that you can keep and cherish.

Many pieces of jewelry were at Neiman Marcus for one day, like this gorgeous moonstone and rose gold ring.

The rose gold trend is here to stay as you can see with these organic and elegant classics. You can order the leafy earrings in aquamarine and gold at Neiman Marcus, $2990. Swan Lake, anyone?

I fell in love with these earring which incorporate tsavorite (a bright emerald colored gem that Jamie said she is doing more with for spring) along with blue sapphires and black diamonds. The colors are like pretty peacock feathers.

Here are some white gold pieces. Jamie Wolf Jewelry is all hand made in New York City. The collection is 18KT yellow, white, and rose gold, with custom pieces by request.
Not all of Jamie’s pieces may be out of your price range. Check out Jamie Wolf’s Symphony in C Collection, inspired by a ballet choreographed by the legendary NYCB co-founder, George Balanchine. The earrings are oxidized sterling silver with Swarovski Elements and she told me they were actually worn by the dancers on stage. They are nice earrings to run around in and she designed them that way! Twenty percent of sales will be donated to Turn Out, to raise funds for the NYCB.
