Which is probably the main reason that Simpson has signed on to appear as a mentor on the new NBC show, “Fashion Star”. She will help 14 unknown aspiring fashion designers as they compete in weekly challenges to win a multi-million dollar contract to launch their own brand in an American retailer.
“Jessica Simpson has built an incredible fashion business and is a perfect mentor to our aspiring designers,” said Ben Silverman, whose company Electus will produce the show along with The Magical Elves and 5X5 Media.
