The Hunter boot has made its mark on streets as an immediate sensation, just as fast as the oh, so comfortable Ugg boots did. Well I’m sure you will all be pleased to hear that the popular shoe brand is opening its first-ever store here in the U.S.
The 270-sq.-ft. retail store will open in New York’s Limelight Marketplace in March. The store will feature the trademark rubber welly style, along with the Boa and Huntress, and a selection of clogs, socks and accessories.

In hopes of the company, this new store will help transition its image from strongly Scottish, with a core British consumer base, to a global brand.
“Hunter is an iconic brand that has embraced the 21st century, welcoming a wide-range of customers,” Wendy Svarre, Hunter Boot USA President, said. “We are excited to participate in this innovative retail venue, which allows us the opportunity to directly connect with our customers in our own retail space for the first time in the U.S.”
Choosing New York’s Limelight Marketplace was a wise choice because it hits close to home. The shopping venue is a 163-year-old building and intentionally replicates a European street.
Who knows, maybe somewhere down the line another store will open in Chicago! I fell in love with the boots, so I’m crossing my fingers!
