I have to admit, I tread lightly around this trend. Why? Fold-over boots can scream fashion-victim if worn improperly or by the wrong person. What do I mean? Well, to be blunt…if you have chunky calves and legs, these boots are going to do nothing for you, in fact, they will make matters worse. Think leg warmers. See what I mean? Now, should you be blessed with long slim legs you can rock them with skinny jeans or leggings. Fold-over boots can also look incredibly hot with a micro-mini skirt and opaques. But if this look isn't for you, don't fret…just be honest with yourself. I can't wear them either, but the beauty of boots this season is that there are so many styles to chose from, there is something for everyone.
