Summary: Wenlan Chia sees the ‘Twinkle Girl’ jumping ship and heading for a life that is less predictable. That translated into chunky knit sweaters over a little showing of fine silk prints underneath. Slightly disheveled yet romantic, the ensembles were more fitting for a girl than a woman. However, there were some pieces like the black and cream wool tweed suit, the blue silk frock and the amethyst purple silk charmeuse dress that I would be thrilled to own and wear. If you looked at each layer as it’s own individual piece, there really were some beautifully crafted clothes.
