My Top 10 Fashion Picks from The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 is open to the public today! Not only Nordstrom card members, but everyone can shop online and in-store with any form of payment. If you have a Nordstrom card you will still probably want to use it to gain points for your purchases. And believe me, now is a good time to shop for fall and for transitional fashion you can wear now from The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023.

Here are 10 exceptional fashion pieces that stood out to me when I shopped the Anniversary Sale Preview at Nordstrom Michigan Avenue last Thursday. Yes, it was difficult to cull it down. But some of my favorites already sold out, which only goes to prove why you need to shop soon for the best selection and to find items still available in your size.

Another reason to shop early is because these special prices will go back to their original prices at the end of the sale on August 6th, which is just around the corner.

1. ALLSAINTS Balfern Sheepskin Leather Biker Jacket, Sale: $349.99  After Sale: $569.00

Lauren urged me to check out the ALLSAINTS leather jackets at the Anniversary Sale, and I’m glad I did. Everything I ever bought from ALLSAINTS (including a few leather jackets) I’ve worn to death. Their leather jackets are soft, beautifully made and timeless. This chalk white version of a basic biker jacket is my favorite at Nordstrom. It is well worth the investment, especially when you can save $219 during this sale.

2. Marc Jacobs Small Pillow Leather Crossbody Bag, Sale: $284.99 After Sale: $425.00

I’m in love with this Marc Jacobs handbag. It’s soft and simply designed as well as the ideal size. It is small yet still large enough to carry everything I need (phone, wallet, lipstick and even sunglasses). You can wear it crossbody with the leather strap or use the chain as a shorter shoulder strap. The only problem is deciding what color to choose! It is available in black with silver hardware or marshmallow or peach whip with gold hardware. Delicious!

3. Kurt Geiger London Soho Drench Mule, Sale: $109.99 After Sale: $165.00

If you are looking for a stylish shoe with slipper-like comfort like I am, this closed-toe mule from Kurt Geiger London is the answer. It has a small wedge to give you a little lift, a soft quilted leather upper with a tonal chain and signature eagle head detail for a subtle a bit of edginess. Choose brown, navy, green or my favorite black. Wear these slides with everything from jeans to black pants, slim skirts and sheath dresses.

4. Cinq A Sept Cheyenne Rhinestone Flower Blazer, Sale: $464.99 After Sale: $695.00

This statement-making and unique jacket from Cinq A Sept is not only chic but quite versatile. Wear it casually with faded jeans or for dress-up over a a black dress, jumpsuit or pants. This blazer is part of a suit with cropped pants that are rhinestone embellished at the hem, but I like it as a separate. Save a few hundred dollars on this piece during the sale.

5. Steve Madden Abstract Print Long Sleeve Shirtdress, Sale: $58.99 After Sale: $99.00

I took a look at the dresses at the NSale and this one from Steve Madden is one if my favorites. The abstract animal print is neutral and the long sleeves and midi length are ideal for women over 50. It can be worn all year round, too. This dress is a welcome addition to your wardrobe and the price is right!

6. 7 for All Mankind Dojo Ultrahigh Waist Flare Leg Jeans, Sale: $149.99 After Sale: $228.00

Don’t forget to check out premium denim for a not-so-premium price. If you need a jeans update, I recommend these high waist wide leg flare jeans from 7 for All Mankind. I can vouch for the fit and quality of 7 jeans. I own several pairs and have kept them on rotation for many years.

7. BCBGMAXAZRIA Double Breasted Coat, Sale $179.99 After Sale $298.00

Go bold or go home! This sale helps you to think outside the box and offers a lot of coats on bold colors. I tried this one on at the sale and it is slightly oversized yet very flattering! The gorgeous blue will be a nice change from black, yet will work with everything black in your closet, as well as with other colors and prints.

8. B.Tempt’D By Wacoal Fit Underwire Bra, Sale: $31.99 After Sale: $48.00

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the best time to take advantage of great prices on lingerie. I recommend picking up your favorite bra at the sale. This basic underwire bra from Wacoal is only $31.99 and you will wear it almost every day. After all, what you wear under your clothes is important to make everything you wear lay better. Pick up some smooth panties while you’re at it too.

9. Barefoot Dreams® CozyChic™ Ultra Lite® Open Front Cardigan, Regular & Plus, Sale price $99.99 After Sale: $145.00

You know that ratty cardigan you’ve been wearing around the house, like every day? Get rid of it! Now is the time to replace it with this super soft and cozy one from Barefoot Dreams. It comes in your choice of soft colors including driftwood (as shown), almond, nickle and pearl.

10. LARROUDÉ Miso Platform Slide Sandal, Sale: $199.99 After Sale: $315.00

I am a self-professed shoe addict and I was immediately drawn to this brand. Not all of the LARROUDÉ styles are platform, but all are high quality and super comfortable. These platform slides are a fabulous investment for $199.99. I adore the gold, but you can also get them in chocolate brown leather. I would wear them with maxi dresses, wide leg pants and jeans of any style … for the next 10 years.
