I was sent the 3 items to try, but I don't have Rosacea. However, I have a friend who does. Since we make it our policy not to tout those items we have not tried and loved, I asked my friend to try them for me and report back.
SCS: How long have you had Rosacea?
FWR (Friend with Rosacea): I have had Rosacea for about 5 years, maybe a bit longer.
SCS: How bad would you say it is?
FWR: It occasionally flares to severe but usually mild to moderate.
SCS: Have you tried other products and did they work?
FWR: I never saw any cosmetics targeted to the redness; I have just used regular cover ups but they failed miserably, just making my skin look uneven, at best.
SCS: How would you rate the Clinique products?
FWR: I loved the Clinique products. They covered my recent flare up with ease and left my face with an even, natural looking patina. The spot stick was great for touch ups during the day. The liquid went on evenly and flawlessly and the powder was the icing on the cake. I felt confident that no one knew I was hiding any redness.
SCS: Which was your favorite and why?
FWR: I liked the liquid makeup the best probably because that is what I am used to using. I rarely use a product like the mineral powder. I also feel I have more control with the liquid. I love the spot stick for touch ups during the day especially since I tend to touch my face a lot during the day and/or sweat on my face, depending on the weather.
SCS: Would you recommend Clinique Redness Solutions to a friend with Rosacea?

FWR: I was fortunate that the sample color liquid make up was the right shade for me. It was comfortable, not heavy and made such a difference in my appearance. I felt confident and ready for my meeting without any self-consciousness. I knew I was well covered.
