Chicago Events. eDrop-Off Hosts Auction Finale Party with 'The Bachelorette' Trista Sutter and Molly Mesnick from 'The Bachelor'

The original Bachelorette Trista Sutter, The Bachelor’s Molly Mesnick and eDrop-Off’s Finale party at Rockit Bar & Grill

With the whirlwind of Glamorama last weekend we have some catching up to do on last week’s events! Chicago has been bustling with fashion activity these past few weeks and we’ve been part of it all. One of the biggest-hearted functions of the week came compliments of Chicago-based luxury consignment service, eDrop-Off.

The company’s founder, Corri McFadden, teamed up with the original ‘Bachelorette’ Trista Sutter and former contestant on ‘The Bachelor’ Molly Mesnick, to launch an eDrop-Off exclusive fashion charity auction to benefit the American Red Cross. Sutter and Mesnick joined 30 past contestants from the infamous shows by donating items worn during rose ceremonies, first dates and reunions. eDrop-Off then auctioned the enviable fashions starting on August 5th and ending August 12th with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the American Red Cross.

To celebrate the success of the auction, eDrop-Off hosted a a finale party at Rockit Bar & Grill in downtown Chicago, inviting the city’s fashion and media insiders to toast the participants’ contributions. In addition to Sutter and Mesnick, Ed Swiderski and Nikki Kaapke, both from ‘The Bachelor’ were also in attendance.

The various items included in the auction (some of which were displayed at the party!) were Trista Sutter’s rose ceremony dress (with Ryan), Molly Mesnick’s first rose ceremony dress (meeting Jason), Ashley Herbert’s top worn this season, Emily Maynard’s ceremony dress, Sarah Brice’s last rose ceremony dress (proposal to Charlie) and Ed Swiderski infamous green shorts which were on bid on for $510.00!

At its close, the auction was on track to raise thousands for the American Red Cross. The party was also a great success, the room filled with people having come out to support the cause.  Sutter and Mesnick in particular, lit up the room with their infectious smiles and gorgeous pieces from Blue Nile jewelry.  I also loved the thoughtful gesture of passing out roses to all the ladies at the party, complete with an eDrop-Off gift card attached!
