The high-end fashion broadsheet ‘Alexa’, free inside the New York Post, debuted its seventh edition in newsstands today. The twelve-page section features a round-up of must-wear fall trends from the runways, including menswear-inspired fashion, cozy sweaters and even bondage style pieces.
And if you feel like you never have enough time to read the paper, worry no more! Starting today, ‘Alexa’ will also offer daily Editor’s Picks on its new website, NYPOST.com/Alexa. The new online feature will also offer exclusive interviews with cutting edge designers like Johnson Hartig of Libertine and Emma Hill, creative director for Mulberry. Both the broadsheet and the web version will also offer celebrity style spotters in Fashion Snaps and gossip from New York City’s fashion world in Threads.

Interview with Libertine designer Johnson Hartig
Much-lauded LA-based designer Johnson Hartig recently announced his plans to show at New York’s Fall Fashion Week – the first appearance since splitting with his partner Cindy Greene in 2009. In his interview with Alexa, Hartig talks about his plans for his Spring 2012 collection, the challenge of finding the right vintage clothes to use as a base for his line, and his unique inspirations — including the New York Post! “I have a headline hanging on my wall, ‘Dopey Thieves,’ that I’d like to make into a T-shirt print, maybe.”
